How can I replace ingredients?

Postby Invictous2012 » Fri Sep 22, 2017 7:18 pm

There are spells that I want to try, but with very hard to find items. Can I use another similar ingredient?

Why do not you try a simpler spell? Maybe you can try one with more common ingredients. If you start with difficult tasks you can have many problems with your ritual. Start small, so you can add complexity over time.

I agree with her_soul. Sometimes you want to start with the most powerful spell, but you have to be patient. As in everything, learning this requires patience and following (and respecting) the process. To me, going slowly is key. The lasting results come from mastering the fundamentals. Take your time, do not rush.

That's easy, pick your spells with the following criteria. 1) The availability of the ingredients. 2) Your goals. That's it, if you have easy access to the materials and if they serve for what you want, go for it. Do not try to replace ingredients.

They said everything already. But I want to go straight to the point. If you have no experience, try to start with simple rituals. If you have experience, you would not ask that question, so I assume you do not.

I made this mistake when I just started reading about black magic. But now I'm correcting it. Thanks for all the tips.
